Orange Julius

We used to see these babies in malls everywhere, but it seems as though the classic after-school smoothie is no longer sold in stores. But we have great news: we have the recipe to make your very own Orange Julius, and they are amazing. If you remember hanging out at the mall with your friends after school, this drink is for you. If you don't, you'll probably like this drink anyway. Whether you're trying something new or reliving a past with acid-washed jeans and jackets tied around the waist, this simple recipe is sure to be your new favorite.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (6 ounces) can frozen orange juice concentrate

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups ice

Directions:

Blend the milk and vanilla in a blender, pulsing until well-combined. Add the frozen orange juice concentrate with the milk and pulse until well-combined. Blend the sugar and ice cubes until the cubes are crushed and the drink is thick. If you want a little less smoothie, splash in some water to thin it out.
