Asparagus with Orange Butter

Ingredients:

⅓ cup butter

2 Tablespoons grated orange rind

¼ cup of orange juice

1 ½ lb. fresh asparagus

Peeled orange slices

Directions:

Combine butter, orange rind, and orange juice in a saucepan, bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer until the mixture is reduced by half and slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.  Set aside and keep warm. Cook asparagus in a small amount of water until tender and crisp; drain. Arrange on a serving platter.  Pour orange sauce over asparagus, garnish with orange slices.
