Martin, TN: 2019 TN Soybean Festival — September 1st - 7th, 2019 

The first Tennessee Soybean Festival was held September 6th - 11th, 1994 through the joint efforts of city leaders and UT Martin officials. In 1994, the festival was proud to host a little more than 25 events. The first big name performers were Tim McGraw and Suzy Bogguss. Events such as a tractor rodeo and toy pedal tractor pull showcased the spirit of agriculture that is prevalent today.

August 17th kicks off the festival with the Festival Pageant at UT Martin Fine Arts building, Harriet Fulton Theater. With over 30 events going on for the 25th annual Soybean Festival there is something for everyone. From the Sea Lion Splash, to bicycle rodeo, to live music in Historic Downtown Martin.You do not want to miss out in fun for the entire family!

Somerville, TN: De Terra Vineyard’s 4th Annual Arts and Craft Festival — September 2nd, 2019

Looking for something to do on Labor Day, but don't want to grill? De Terra is hosting its fourth annual Arts and Crafts Festival on September 2nd. Family friendly, the festival offers activities for all ages. Food trucks and games provide the perfect opportunity for kids and adults to enjoy the festival. The Winery will be open during the event and live music will be on De Terra's stage throughout the day, with plenty of seating. Arts and Crafts vendors will be selling their works and wares during the event. 

It’s perfect for the last (official event) of the summer! De Terra Vineyards are located at 605 Joyners Campground Dr, Somerville, TN.

Millington, TN: International Goat Days — September 6th - 7th, 2019

Welcome to goats galore at Millington’s annual Goat Days! This event takes place on the second weekend of September, beginning at 5:30 pm on Friday. The World’s Greatest Goat Parade kicks off the festivities, followed by tractor pulls, antique tractor shows, equestrian events, KCBS Championship BBQ Contest, a fishing rodeo, a Corn Hole Tournament, and Battle of the Bands. Of course, there will be goats! 

Parking is $5, but admission to the festival is free. Celebrate goats at Goat Days!

Union City, TN: Obion County Cornfest — September 9th - 21st, 2019

If you love all things corn, this festival is the one for you! This gathering is a tradition, as it’s been bringing people together for 27 years. From September 9-21, many corn-related activities will take place throughout Union City, TN. Some of those events include the following: cornhole tournament, bed race, medallion hunt, pumpkin painting, cornbread cookoff, Miss Cornfest pageant, and Cornfest Idol! 

Most of the events are free for admission. Come and celebrate America’s beloved vegetable, corn!

Hornsby, TN: Hornsby Fall Classic — September 14th, 2019

On the second Saturday of September, Hornsby will be hosting its Fall Classic once again! With the Classic opening at 10 am, live music will begin an hour later at 11 am. Open to the entire family, it has something for everyone! A car show for enthusiasts, kid’s rides for the little ones, and shopping and food for all! 

At 5 pm, the lawn mower pull begins! Be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and enjoy a perfect fall festival!

Somerville, TN: Fayette County Cotton Festival — September 14th, 2019

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce will be having their 20th annual Fayette County Cotton Festival on September 14. There will be roughly 165 vendors and booths present at the festival. The entertainment offered at the event will include a few bands, color guard, and cheerleaders. There will be no admission to the event and parking is free.

Savannah, TN: Hardin County Agricultural Fair—September 16 - 21, 2019

The Hardin County Agricultural Fair has amusement rides, games, beauty pageants, Battle of the Bands, and more! Be there on September 16th for a Gospel Night and on the 17th for the Baby Show Pageant! The toddler and Princess Pageant is on the 19th. Paris, TN: Bavarian Oktoberfest — September 20th - 21st, 2019

Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st. 110 W. Washington Street, Paris, TN. 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., Dinner at 6:00. Advance tickets are required $30.00 includes dinner

Appetizers are hot beer cheese dip and soft pretzels. The main course is wiener schnitzel, beer brats, sauerkraut, haluski (noodles), German potato salad. Dessert will be apple strudel. Humbolt, TN: Harvest Festival — September 21st, 2019

The 2nd Annual Harvest Festival begins at 7 am September 21st, at Crown Winery in Humboldt. There is a Stomp the Grapes Competition, wine and beer tastings, and local art vendors. 

The festival is open to all ages and admission is free. Crown Winery is located at 3638 E Mitchell St, Humboldt, TN.

Saltillo, TN: Saltillo River Day— September 21, 2019

Join us on September 21st to celebrate Saltillo’s river heritage. Celebrations include a parade, live music, street dance, arts & crafts. Call 731-217-1333 for more information.

Munford, TN: Celebrate Munford — September 21st, 2019 

Celebrate Munford is it’s 35th year as a family fun-packed event for all ages. Held on September 21st, this festival is free to the public as it is an event to celebrate Munford, Tennessee. Vendors with all sorts of goodies and food that is sure to soothe any craving will be available all throughout the day.  Visitors who attend will be excited to see the live performances from the Munford High School Marching Band and the Munford High Advanced Choir! 

Jackson, TN: Donnell Century Farm Adventure 2019 September 21st - November 2nd, 2019

The Grand Opening of the Donnell Farm Pumpkin Market is September 17th and there will be Scarecrows for photos! Admission to this event does not include admission to the adventure attractions, cafe, and festival foods. The opening of the Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is September 28th and 29th. While the weekend dates are still being planned, hours are Saturdays from 10am-6pm and Sundays 1pm-6pm. Admission is $10+tax for everyone 2 years and up. This wonderful adventure offers 35 farm attractions, so there’s something everyone will enjoy!

Donnell Century Farm Adventure is located at 3720 Hwy 70 East, Jackson, TN 37305 near the Spring Creek Community.

Toone, TN: Falcon Ridge Farm Fest — September 21st - November 2nd, 2019

Come on out for Falcon Ridge Farm’s biggest event of the year! With a six acre corn maze, hayrides, petting zoo, pony rides, and more, there’s something here for the entire family!  Pumpkins are 50 cents and up, pony rides are $3, and petting zoo feed is 25 cents. 

The festival runs from September 21st to November 2nd. The farm is open Monday through Thursday 9 am to 2 pm. On Friday, hours of operation are 9 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Admission is $10 plus tax for ages three and up. Bolivar, TN: Tennessee Forest Festival — September 26th - 28th, 2019

The Tennessee Forest Festival will be held from September 26th- 28th from 8 to 5 everyday. A parade will be held as well as Miss Forest Festival Pageant. This festival hosts a variety of events including an art show, fashion show, and photography show, and a heritage day at The Pillars in Bolivar, beginning at 10 am. There will also be a tennis tournament, basketball tournament, and golf tournament. Highland games and an educational program on forestry will be available.

Brownsville, TN: Tina Turner Heritage Days — September 27th - 29th, 2019

Celebrating the life and music of Tina Turner, the fifth annual Tina Turner Heritage days offers a variety of events: live painting exhibition, stewmaster competition, an antique tractor show, Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church Service and much more! 

Admission is free except for a few events: $20 for a mystery tour, $25 for dinner and a concert, and $10 for a tour of the West TN Delta Heritage Center. For more information, call 731-779-9000. The event will be at 121 Sunny Hill Cove, Brownsville, TN.

Henderson, TN: Chester County BBQ — September 27th - 28th, 2019

The 42nd Annual Chester County BBQ Festival will be held on September 27 and 28. All of the events will be centered around the Chester County Courthouse lawn in downtown Henderson, and admission is free. There will a kid’s section complete with kiddie rides at the festival. Live music will be played throughout the festival with a concert on Friday. They will also be hosting a talent show at the festival on Saturday.

Covington, TN: Covington Heritage Festival — September 28th, 2019 

For its 24th year, the Covington-Tipton Co. Festival is entertaining at the Historic Covington Square with merchants, food trucks, live music, and much more. There are over 140 vendors who sell their art, clothing, and creations that you’re sure to love. 

Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking with shuttle buses to the square, so show up and have a good time. Covington Heritage Festival will be held from 9 to 4 on September 28.

Rosemark, TN: Rosemark Country Fair — September 28th, 2019

The Rosemark Country Fair is a celebration of the agriculture heritage of the Rosemark National Historic District and surrounding communities. The fair promotes local history and gives people a chance to experience a real old-fashioned country fair. The fair is family-friendly and suitable for all ages, offering arts and crafts, petting zoos, antique car shows, “kiddie rides”, and music entertainment. Visit the exhibitors’ tents to learn about topics ranging from history, honey bees, old and new farm equipment, to livestock. Along with the fair activities, there will be live entertainment as well as multiple food vendors. Get ready to eat and listen to some great music! 

Paris, TN: Arts ‘Round The Square — September 28th, 2019

For 15 years, the Paris-Henry County Arts Council has held a day to showcase the artisans and craftspeople of West Tennessee. With the wide variety of artwork and crafts, there’s always something to catch your eye. With over 40 vendors and a few food trucks, it’s a great day to spend with your family. 

Arts ‘Round The Square is held in the historic Paris square on the courthouse lawn. Admission is free and there is a kids corner. Prizes are awarded for the best booths.

Decaturville, TN: Decaturville Main Street Festival — September 28th - 29th, 2019

The Decaturville Main Street Festival will be held on September 28 and 29. There will be a petting zoo for the little ones and a game of family feud that the whole family can enjoy. There will be local entertainment performing such as their very own local High School band. A variety of vendors will be available at the festival. A golf tournament for the festival will be on Friday, September 27th.

McKenzie, TN: Huntingdon Heritage Festival — September 28th - 29th, 2019

Heritage Day has been a long-standing tradition, and this year the Town of Huntingdon will not disappoint. Make plans now to attend the annual Huntingdon Heritage Festival on the 4th Saturday of September. So much fun for the entire family with arts and crafts, petting zoo, live entertainment, storytelling, and so much more as well as the signature event, the Pioneer Family Award.
