Mildred Gallagher's Party Pizza

Tailgating doesn’t have to require a fancy tent or massive buffet of food outside of a stadium. Set up your favorite foods, invite your friends, and turn on your favorite team’s game to have a mini tailgate at home. Check out this awesome tailgating treat and be sure to tell us how you loved it!

Ingredients:

1 pound of Sausage

1 pound of Ground Beef

1 pound of Velveeta cheese

½ teaspoon of garlic salt

1 can of chopped, ripe olives

1 can of green chilies

Directions:

In a skillet, cook meat; drain on paper towels. Put meat back in skillet and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix together until cheese is melted. Cool and spread on thin slices of Pepperidge Farm Rye. Put on cookie sheet and freeze. When ready to use, bake at 350 until hot.

If you want these any other time but Fall Holidays, you need to let your grocer know, because this type of bread is usually only available during the Holidays.  We used a small loaf of multi-grain bread, and a small loaf of french bread - both sliced thinly with an electric knife. They worked, but they didn’t have the same taste.  This is so good with the original recipe!
