Beverly Wander’s Snickerdoodle Cookies Recipe

Anything that Grandma Bev makes is delicious, but her Snickerdoodles are an absolute Favorite! She bakes goodies every year at Christmas time and ships them all the way from Bozeman, Montana!

Ingredients

1 cup margarine

1 cup yellow Crisco

3 cups white sugar

4 eggs

5 ½ cups flour

4 tsp cream of tartar

2 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

Directions

Thoroughly mix or beat all ingredients together

Preheat oven to 400

Roll cooled dough into balls. The size is up to you. Some people like bigger cookie balls

Mix 4 Tablespoons white sugar and 4 teaspoons cinnamon

Place on cookie sheet allowing room for the cookies to spread

Bake for 9-10 minutes or until the bottom begins to brown. Remove from cookie sheet
