Fourth of July Parfait
¼ cup of sugar
Tub of Cool Whip
8 ounces of Cream Cheese
Pint of Raspberries
Pint of Strawberries
Pint of Blueberries
First, prepare the cream. In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, Cool Whip, and cream cheese with a handheld mixer. Start on low and increase the speed as the mixture begins to come together. Mix until well combined. Next, place the mixture in a large plastic bag and cut one corner on the bottom of the bag off. This will serve as a piping bag.
Next, prepare the fruit. Wash the raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries and place them into separate bowls. Then, after removing the stems, thinly slice the strawberries from the top of the fruit to the bottom.
Next, layer the dessert. Place a layer of cream at the bottom of the dessert, about an inch and a half thick. Then layer with desired fruit. For best results, place the fruit facing outward so it can be seen through the glass along with layering fruit in the middle of the dessert. Alternate the cream and fruit fillings until the glass is full. Decorate the top with fruit and serve!
