Squash Casserole

Ingredients:

2 pounds cooked squash, drained, mashed

1 can celery soup

½ package onion soup mix

Dash of cayenne

1 cup cheese - we used shredded sharp cheddar  - inside the casserole

1 cup corn flakes mixed with 2 Tablespoons melted butter on top.

Directions:

You make also make a supper dish by adding boned pan-broiled or roasted chicken breasts on top of a veggie casserole the last few minutes of cooking time.  For better flavor, cook the breasts ahead and bone them after they are cooked. Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and bake for 30 minutes. Add topping of cornflakes and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
