Santa's Favorite Cookie, Cowboy Cookies

At my house, this is always what Santa requested to be left with his milk.  I suppose every house has their favorite - it would get boring for Santa if he had the same cookies at EVERY stop!  These are not the prettiest cookies, but they are wonderful!

Ingredients:

½ cup butter

1 cup brown sugar (packed)

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 Tablespoon water

1 teaspoon vanilla

¾ cup flour

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups oats

1 ½ cups chocolate chips

1 ½ cups butterscotch chips or peanuts

Raisins to taste.

Directions:

Cream butter and sugars, add egg, water vanilla and blend in dry ingredients, including oats. Mix in chips and raisins by hand. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 375* for 12 minutes.  Helpful hint - we always double this recipe!
