Girl Scouts

Juniors from Girl Scout Troop 13804 visited the Cypress office to talk with us about their Bronze Award project with the Tipton County Animal Shelter. The girls have been taking turns baking dog treats at home, and gathering supplies at boxes they set out in the community to take to the dogs at the shelter, play with them and bathe them to help get them ready for a forever home.  They are taking turns every week to take something to the shelter, as well as going to the shelters as a large group.

The girls told us all about their ideas and what Girl Scouts means to them. From learning to take care of their animals, to doing something good for the community, and learning how to speak and communicate in public, this project is teaching the girls a lot.

Keep up the good work!
